Zoakis Nikolaos

He was born in 1972 in Komotini, where he grew up. He studied in Serres, where he took his first photography lessons at the Prefectural Committee for Popular Education (NELE) and since then he has never parted with his camera, using photography as a means of personal expression.

From 2008 until today he attends photography courses at the photography department of the Youth Community of Komotini and at the Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace, of which he is an active member. She has attended the seminars "Introduction to the Art of Photography" and "Artistic Photography" at the Creative Photography Centre of Thrace, seminar "Awakening the Gaze" with Haris Kakarouchas, seminar "Introduction to Artistic Photography" with Plato Rivellis, seminar "Panoptikon 13X13" by the group Art if act.

He participated in group exhibitions of photography at the Club of Komotinians, at Café Louki in Komotini as well as in the exhibitions of the Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace ¨Gi & Idor¨, ¨Portraits of the City¨ in Alexandroupolis, with parallel publications of his photographs in photo albums. He was Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace from 2012 - 2016.
