The Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace, with special emphasis on training and providing lifelong learning opportunities in the wide range of photographic creativity, organises workshops and master classes.
The workshops are aimed at people with varying degrees of familiarity with the photographic medium and directly link the artistic, theoretical and technical parameters of the photographic image, aiming at the development of practical skills, critical analysis and discussion, experimentation, mentoring and the presentation of works to the public.
The workshops are led by renowned professionals in the field and experienced teachers with many years of teaching experience. The method of delivery, the structure and content of the programme, the duration, the learning objectives and the teaching approach vary and are determined by the specific characteristics of each workshop.
The Photography Workshop for Beginners is addressed to people who have no special knowledge and wish to approach photography both technically and through an overall view of the medium and its practice. It is an integrated workshop of modern teaching and learning process, which incorporates and utilizes all new technologies and methods. Key elements are guidance, communication and interaction between participants and instructors.
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize participants with the basic technical parameters of shooting, composition and lighting and to practice the main themes and approaches of the photographic medium, such as portrait, landscape, snapshot and still life.
The educational process takes place at the facilities of the Thrace Centre for Creative Photography which has modern equipment and infrastructure.
Workshop Program
The group sessions are held on Wednesdays from 19:00 to 21:00.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Training by the Thrace Centre for Creative Photography.

The Artistic Photography Workshop is for people with previous experience or those who have attended the Beginners Photography Workshop. The workshop aims to explore in depth the aesthetics and practice of contemporary photography and to develop on a technical and creative level. Participants will be encouraged to develop their photographic interests and personal style, as well as finding their own methodology for producing photographic work.
The aim of the workshop is to explore photography as a medium of creative expression and as a contemporary artistic practice, to develop a critical eye, to become familiar with the techniques and technology of the medium and to create a complete portfolio. The courses are taught in person at the Thrace Centre for Creative Photography.

The Analog Photography - Darkroom Workshop is addressed to people who want to learn the basic, fundamental principles of developing and printing analog film in the darkroom. The workshop will be held in the fully equipped darkroom of the Thrace Creative Photography Centre and participants will have the opportunity to experience the magic of the darkroom and analogue photography.
