Rodopi, a magical mountain range, dotted with castles, churches, mosques, mansions, huts, barns, dry stone walls, bridges. With landscapes of unparalleled natural beauty, with unexpected flora and fauna.

But the most beautiful element of it is the human element. Smiles, treats, hospitality from people of different cultures, customs, traditions, religions and traditions. A place where different population groups coexist, a harmonious diversity of people that you rarely encounter.

The process of photography is unique: fifteen photographers, members of the Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace, travelled hundreds of kilometres in Greece and Bulgaria, defying the weather conditions, on every occasion, holidays, weekends, afternoons, to create this photographic album.

The creators Nikos Andreadakis, Stratos Vlasakidis, Giannis Gkogkos, Georgia Dimitriou, Nikos Zoakis, Sotiris Zoakis, Giannis Kaltseras, Christos Maltezos, Michalis Boliakis, Giannis Boultadakis, Katerina Papapanagiotou, Anna Paraskefidou, Gioula Patsi, Aneza Spanopoulou, Symeon Chatzilidis, under the curatorship of Panos Kokkinias, expressed themselves artistically and captured the mountain range of Rodopi of today with a contemporary view.

Istanbul is undoubtedly one of the most favourite and tempting photographic subjects, not only because of its contemporary political and social image but also because of its culture and its particular tradition and history. In the past it has inspired many photographers to seek out its peculiarities and describe its physiognomy.

Michael Boliakis has been travelling and photographing Istanbul for more than ten years, aiming to record its contemporary life. The result of these travels is presented in his album entitled "Istanbul".

The Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace and two groups of distinguished photographers from Turkey and Bulgaria are the creators of the photo album TERRA THRAKIA.

The aim of the album is to create artistic photographs of the everyday life and occupations of Thracians, the landscapes of Thrace, events, customs and traditions through the photographic lens.

The selection of photographs was made by the distinguished photographers George Georgiou and Vanessa Winship who were hosted by our club.

In "COLORE CUBANO" we see for the first time the photographer's colour photographs. After nine years since the publication of the black and white album "IN CUBA", the artist returns to Cuba to capture it with his camera lens, this time in colour.
