Underwater photography exhibition "Light & Water" in Alexandroupolis

The Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace invites you to the underwater photography exhibition entitled "Light & Water".

This unique artistic action aims to highlight the magical relationship between light and water, two powerful elements of nature, through the lens of creative photography.

The works will be exhibited under the surface of the water, printed on waterproof canvas, creating a spectacular play of colours and shadows. Light and water will come together, bringing out the details and dynamics of the photographs.

The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the importance of these elements, while showcasing the natural beauty of Thrace and other regions. Through sections including landscapes, seabed, portraits, nature and more, the artistic photographic works will be presented in an original way, offering the audience an unforgettable experience.

Participating photographers: Christos Alexakis, Nikos Andreadakis, Christina Gousiou, Elias Grigoriadis, Georgia Dimitriou, Nikos Zoakis, Yannis Kaltseras, Dimosthenis Karageorgiou, Giorgos Kouvalakis, Drakoulis Koulaxidis, Christos Maltezos, Michalis Boliakis, Yannis Boultadakis, Gioula Patsi, Julia Tsiridou.

The exhibition "Light & Water" will take place from 7 to 11 September 2024 at the coastal front of Alexandroupolis, at the location "turn Egnatia", giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy art from a new dimension.

The exhibition is implemented with the financial support and under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, as well as under the auspices of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.
