Underwater photography exhibition "Light & Water"

The Centre for Creative Photography of Thrace is pleased to announce the successful completion of the original underwater photography exhibition entitled "Light & Water", which attracted a large number of visitors and won impressions with its innovative approach.

This unique artistic action aimed to highlight the magical relationship between light and water, two elements that coexist and interact in an impressive way through creative photography. The photographs, printed on waterproof canvas and exposed under the surface of the water, created a magical setting, where light and the liquid element composed a unique spectacle of colours and shadows.

Visitors had the opportunity to experience an unprecedented experience, as the photographic works were presented in a way that brought out the details and intensity of the subjects in a unique way. The exhibition, through the photographic sections of landscapes, seabed, portraits and natural landscapes, raised awareness of the importance of light and water, as well as the protection of the natural beauty of Thrace and other regions.

The exhibition hosted photographs of members of the Centre, including: Christos Alexakis, Nikos Andreadakis, Christina Gousiosiou, Elias Gregoriadis, Georgia Demetriou, Nikos Zoakis, Yannis Kaltseras, Demosthenes Karageorgiou, Giorgos Kouvalakis, Drakoulis Koulaxidis, Christos Maltesos, Michalis Boliakis, Yannis Bultadakis, Youla Patsis, Julia Tsiridou.

The exhibition is implemented with the financial support and under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, as well as under the auspices of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.
